We have been reading lots of books about recounting an event in someone's life. Now it is our turn to write a recount (retell). This week for homework, I am asking that students write about a favourite Christmas Tradition. They must include, WHO, WhERE, WHEN, and wHAT happened in proper order. These are due back by next Wednesday. We will compile them to make a Christmas Tradition Book! Can't wait to read about all the Christmas Tradidtions.

* Don't forget to read the newsletter and fill out the ballot on the back. Return it to the office to win a Family Game Night Package. Includes 2 Games, treats and juice.

News this Week:

Don't forget to return permission slip as well as $2.75 for the field trip this Friday.
Book orders are going home Monday, November 28th and are asked to be returned this Friday, December 2nd.
Please return your child's report card envelope so it can be reused for the next time.

Please check out your child's spelling test and return by Thursday
Return Book Orders by this Friday

Your Word Pattern Challenge of the Week:
While you are at home reading, whether you are reading books or just words around your house, look for words that have the long -e sound spelled -ea. Try to find at least 3 words and write them in your agenda.
